You should bring a passion for delivering high quality software and be capable of owning large features. The ideal candidate will have experience developing rich web applications (AJAX, XHTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS etc.) and offer strong user-interface instincts. Excellent team work and communication skills are necessary. For the ace OOP developer we offer an opportunity to come up to speed in Ruby on Rails, or enhance your existing RoR skills in a commercial environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assist in the design, build, launch, and maintenance of our front end web applications from the ground up.
•Ensure cross browser functionality.
•Own new features and application pieces.
•Work with product management to identify & define features to be added to the product.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
•5+ years’ experience creating highly scalable web applications, preferably for a consumer product.
•Deep background in object oriented development
•AJAX,Javascript, DOM, XHTML, etc
•Strong debugging skills
•Strong problem solving skills
•High degree of integrity, passion, and drive
•BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
•Solid Unix/Linux skills
•Interest in Ruby on Rails

DESIRED
• Commercial Ruby on Rails experience.
